  2. 2. Foreigners of graduates of foreign schools can select their application types, same as domestic applicants.

  • A student enrolled in a 4-year university abroad, acquired a minimum of 1/4 of the academic credits required for their undergraduate degree
  • A graduate of a 2 or 3-year college (community college) abroad, holds an associatedegree
3rd year eligibility
  • A student enrolled in a 4-year university abroad, acquired a minimum of 1/2 of the academic credits required for their undergraduate degree
  • A graduate of a 2 or 3-year college (community college) abroad, holds an associatedegree

Additionally required documents for graduates of foreign schools are as follows.

  1. 1. Must submit either a Confirmation of Academic Background or documents certified under the Apostille system
  2. 2. Documents issued in languages other than English must be to korean translated and notarized

How to issue your Confirmation of Academic Achievement

  1. 1. What is a Confirmation of Academic Achievement? A Confirmation of Academic Achievement is a document proving the school is an institution that is accredited by the corresponding country and thus, their academic programs are qualified in the country.
    The purpose the Confirmation is to certify the school's legality or academic recognition.
    Each country, issuing organization has different forms. Please consult the following table.
  2. 2. I the Confirmation of Academic Achievement is unavailable, it be replaced with documents certified under the Apostille system.
  3. 3. You can get an ‘Apostille Certificate’ from the competent government body for your diploma (certificate) and academic transcript.
    Alternatively, you can obtain a 'Confirmation of Academic Achievement' from your local government or official issuing agency.

  1. 1. Depending on the country, the preparation period for documents may require several months.
    As such, you must prepare your documents in advance and take the application period into account.
  2. 2. Failure to submit all required application forms may result in an unsuccessful application. Once your documents are ready,
    it is efficient to contact the school for preview before proceeding with your application.

  • Maximum 1,500 words
  • Applicants may edit their essay during the recruitment period
  • Multiple choice questions to evaluate each applicant’s character and aptitude

Announcement of Successful Applicants

  1. 1. Please login to our website to check the announcement of successful applicants.
  2. 2. Successful applicants can be selected within the recruitment quota, If the number of applicants exceed the predetermined quota, successful applications will be selcted based on the aggregate score of the statement of purpose and the character and aptitude test.

Tuition Payment

  1. 1. Successful applicants must pay the remaining sum of the tuition fee of KRW 14.4 million after deducting any scholarships received.
  2. 2. You can pay online via credit card or by creating a virtual account to wire transfer your tuition.

Check Student Number

Your student number is your ID. It can be used when logging in to sign up for your course. You can check online at this website.

Course application

  1. 1. To sign up for courses, access (login) the school’s website (ww.wdu.ac.kr), select the correct course and sign up.
  2. 2. When you complete signing up for courses, you can attend classes once the semester begins.
